Abstract:

Let n>2, let fm be a sequence of homeomorphisms, between n-dimensional Euclidean domains, that satisfy the Lusin (N) condition with prescribed Dirichlet boundary condition. Let f be a weak limit of fm in the critical Sobolev space. We show that f satisfies the INV condition of Conti and De Lellis and therefore it satisfies the Lusin (N) condition and the associated polyconvex energy functional is lower semicontinuous. This is a joint work with A. Dolezalova, J. Maly and A. Molchanova.
