Abstract:

In this work, we have studied how the sequentially improved monotonicities of nonoscillation solutions can be applied to a class of second-order difference equations with several variable advanced arguments, which has not been tried for difference equations before. A new oscillation criteria for second-order half-linear difference equations with several variable advanced arguments are obtained, which improve the existing results. This approach is better than the ones in the literature, only based on sequentially improved monotonicity of the nonoscillatory solutions. Some relevant examples are indicated to illustrate our results.
