Abstract:

We first present several observability inequalities in a general linear framework (These inequalities correspond to different control phenomena)Then we introduce concept of observable sets with respect to these inequalities for some partial differential equations. The main purpose of this talk is to show the geometric characterization of observable sets. We finally give some comments on the further studies.
