Abstract:

Jim Petrick is a Full Professor, Research Fellow, and the Associate Department Head for Research in the Department of HMGT at Texas A&M University. His research applies marketing and psychology principles in the context of tourism, as well as some interdisciplinary studies. Jim was acknowledged as being in the top 1% of cited scientists in 2021, 2022 & 2023. He has more than 125 peer reviewed journal articles and has been recognized for his research abilities. Jim is Co-Editor of one of the Top Tier Journals, the Journal of Travel Research, and has served on the editorial board for the field’s two other top journals. He has presented his research around the globe and has been a Keynote Speaker in more than 10 countries.
