Abstract:

To a family of representations of a reductive group, we define a hygeometric sheaf. It is a perverse sheaf. We calculate its lisse locus and its rank. We use the theory of Fourier transform over general base to relate this problem to a problem about the hypergeometric D-module, for which explicit computation can be done. We use our results to estimate exponential sums on reductive groups. This is a joint work with Xuanyou Li.
