Abstract:

In this talk, I will first briefly introduce systolic inequalities from positive curvatures and then present our recent work towards this direction. In detail, we show that if a closed (n+1)-manifold has its-Ricci curvature no less than (n-l), then its homological n-systole is bounded from above by the volume of the standard n-sphere. This is a work joint with Prof. Jianchun Chu from Peking University and Prof. Man-Chun Lee from CUHK.
