Abstract:

The Bernoulli-type free boundary problem is one of the most fundamental and important free boundary problems. Since the pioneer work of Alt-Caffarelli (J. Reine Angew. Math. 325(1981)), it has been extensively studied in the past four decades. In this talk, I will give a quick overview of the theory of Bernoulli-type free boundary problems in Euclidean spaces. Subsequently, we will consider the Bernoulli-type free boundary problem on RCD-spaces and discuss some recent developments.
